It's early software, still being shaped. Expect the occasional rough edge, and features that move around between updates. Your journal is safe — it's encrypted and stays on your device unless you turn on backup — but do keep an export if something matters to you. Beta on both platforms; tell us what breaks.
iPhone & iPad
The iOS beta runs through TestFlight, Apple's official beta app. Updates arrive automatically.
Join the TestFlight beta1Install TestFlight from the App Store if you don't have it.
2Tap the button above on your iPhone — it opens TestFlight and adds Fernlight.
3Install and write. New beta builds install themselves as they're released.
Android
Fernlight isn't on the Play Store during the beta, so you install it directly from here.

2Allow the install — Android will ask you to permit installs from your browser. That prompt appears once.
3Open it and write — no account needed to start. Check Settings → Check for updates for new builds.
